The single channel pyroelectric methane detector is based on the pyroelectric effect of lithium tantalate (LiTaO₃) single crystals. Its detection circuit incorporates an ultra-low-noise field-effect transistor and a high-impedance gate resistor system. It is housed in a TO-5 metal package and contains two independent sensor chips with built-in thermal compensation. A precision narrow-band filter serves as the infrared optical window. When used in combination with single-channel pyroelectric reference detector, it effectively eliminates system errors and enables more precise detection. It is widely applicable for CH₄gas detection and spectral analysis.
Features:
High infrared responsivity, high signal-to-noise ratio
Dual-window packaging, high reliability
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) resistance
Built-in thermal compensation
Applications:
